Vision

Updated: Nov 7, 2023

Breaking down the vision can be a helpful way to communicate.

Did you know that March is Save Your Vision Month? It got me thinking, how many businesses have a vision that needs saving? According to LinkedIn, it is over half of all business! According to their study 63% of employees don’t understand their company’s vision!

Leaders are responsible for communicating the vision. In order to be effective, it must be communicated in a meaningful way to each employee. Sadly, in many companies the only time an employee ever sees the mission, vision and values of their organization is that hour presentation at new hire orientation. Leaders must remind each employee of the company’s vision and demonstrate how the individual’s role is critical to the success of the organization.

Reflection Question: What will I do to illustrate, to my team, their role in achieving the company’s vision?
